CHISPA video debuts at National Science Teacher Association (NSTA) National Conference

CHISPA museums and their community-based partners are working together to bring hands-on science to children in afterschool programs – and their families! Noting the innovative and national approach, NSTA TV selected CHISPA as one of eight projects that were presented at the NSTA National Conference, held in Los Angeles March 30 to April 2, 2017.

The NSTA TV video team created a five-minute video that features interviews with project leadership team, the NSF program officer, CBO afterschool activity leaders and administrators, museum educators, and of course, ours stars – the children and their parents!

Please take a few minutes to find out more about what the CHISPA communities have been doing!
